Aceh – Indonesia, Persiraja Banda Aceh Club President Nazaruddin Dek Gam has appointed Ari Nanda as the Vice President of Persiraja, replacing Iswahyudi (Bos Yudi). Ari Nanda’s appointment comes after the team, nicknamed Laskar Rencong, failed to secure a single point in their opening four matches of the Pegadaian Championship 2026/27.
Dek Gam stated that Ari Nanda’s appointment is expected to help strengthen communication and coordination within Persiraja.
“I appointed Ari Nanda as Vice President because we need better communication and coordination, both internally and with external parties. I hope Ari can perform these duties well and help Persiraja navigate the situation ahead,” he said in an official statement on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Ari Nanda has been entrusted with the position in the hope of strengthening Persiraja’s coordination and communication, both within the internal environment and with the club’s external stakeholders.
As Vice President of Persiraja, Ari Nanda is expected to bridge communication between management, the coaching staff, players, and various parties related to Persiraja’s journey in this season’s competition.
This role is vital for Persiraja, which is currently undergoing evaluation and improvements after dropping its first four matches of the competition. As of matchday four, Persiraja has yet to secure any points and is still striving to bounce back to improve its standing in the West Group of the Pegadaian Championship 2026/27.
Ari Nanda’s appointment is also expected to bring fresh energy to Persiraja’s management, particularly in building better communication and maintaining the solidarity of all elements within the club.
“The most important thing right now is how we evaluate and improve on our shortcomings. Everyone must work together for Persiraja,” Dek Gam said.
With these changes in management, Persiraja is now expected to consolidate quickly and focus its attention on the upcoming matches.
Persiraja management, along with the coaching staff and players, will subsequently conduct a comprehensive evaluation to face the remainder of the competition.
Iswahyudi Previously Announced Resignation
As previously reported, Iswahyudi, also known as Bos Yudi, announced his resignation from his position as Vice President of Persiraja after Laskar Rencong started the Pegadaian Championship 2026/27 with four consecutive defeats.
Iswahyudi submitted his resignation via an Instagram Story on his personal account, @yudy_ronaldo. In his post, he apologized to the people of Aceh for Persiraja’s results in the first four matches of the season.
“As a form of my responsibility for the team’s poor performance in 4 matches, I personally apologize to all the people of Aceh,” Iswahyudi wrote.
Iswahyudi also expressed his hope that Persiraja would soon recover from the situation. “God willing, this team will recover soon. This dedication will never fade,” he wrote, accompanied by the hashtag #LANTAK_LAJU.
