Aceh – Indonesia, The Lhokseumawe City Government has finally begun paying the July–October salaries and the 13th-month bonus for 2,934 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK).

Mayor of Lhokseumawe, Dr. Sayuti Abubakar, S.H., M.H., confirmed the disbursement of the 2024 PPPK recruitment intake’s pay to Rakyat Aceh on Tuesday afternoon, October 6, 2026.
“Yes, that’s correct. Some PPPK workers have already received their salaries, depending on their respective regional government agencies (OPD),” Sayuti replied via text message.
A similar statement was delivered by the Head of the Lhokseumawe City Communication and Informatics Office, Taruna Putra, S.I.P., M.A.P.

He mentioned that the monthly salary budget for Lhokseumawe PPPK reaches around IDR 11 billion, bringing the total payout to five months’ worth of pay. “The administrative process for payment preparation has been underway since yesterday, Monday, October 5, 2026. As of today, October 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM WIB, 20 OPDs have submitted Payment Orders (SPM) to the Regional Financial and Assets Management Agency (BPKD) through the Treasury Division,” Taruna stated.

At the end of his statement, he emphasized that the Lhokseumawe City Government remains committed to overseeing the full disbursement of all PPPK salaries as a form of appreciation for their dedication. (ung)
