Aceh – Indonesia, Editor-in-Chief of KabarTamiang.com, Muhammad Hendra Vramenia, has been declared competent as a journalist competency examiner candidate after participating in the Training of Trainer (ToT) program organized by the Pikiran Rakyat Bandung Journalist Competency Testing Body (LUKW).

The event took place over two days, October 7-8, 2026, in Bandung, West Java. Hendra attended the program after receiving a mandate from the Press Company Union (SPS) Aceh.

Coordinator of LUKW Pikiran Rakyat Bandung, Refa Riana, stated in an official letter that holding a Press Council Principal Journalist Card is one of the key prerequisites for ToT participants.

Hendra had previously been declared competent as a Principal Journalist through the Journalist Competency Test (UKW) organized by the Press Council in collaboration with Solopos in Bengkulu back in 2024.

After completing the full two-day examiner candidate ToT program in Bandung, Hendra was certified competent to proceed to the next stage as a journalist competency examiner candidate.

Following this achievement, Hendra expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of SPS Aceh, Mukhtaruddin Usman, and the President Director of PT Media Timur Jaya for their ongoing support.

Having been declared competent, Hendra will next undergo an internship phase as an examiner three times. “For the initial stage, I will serve as an intern examiner in Bandung during the UKW hosted by Kompas on October 22,” Hendra stated on Thursday (8/10/2026). []
