Aceh – Indonesia, Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Aceh Besar Regency held an MSME Promotional Content Creation Class for its members at The Pade Hotel, Aceh Besar, on Thursday (10/8/2026). This activity is part of the implementation of the 2026 DWP Berdaya Program.
The training aims to enhance members’ skills and creativity in utilizing digital technology to generate promotional content that supports the marketing of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Chairperson of DWP Aceh Besar, Mrs. Nurbaiti Bahrul Jamil, stated that digital technology developments offer members an opportunity to develop creativity while supporting their family economy.
According to her, leveraging digital technology serves as a means to assist MSME actors in introducing products and expanding their marketing reach.
“This activity is an effort to improve the skills and creativity of DWP members in utilizing digital technology, particularly in creating engaging promotional content to support MSME development,” she said.
Nurbaiti explained that the ability to create promotional content has become increasingly vital alongside the shift in marketing patterns toward digital platforms. Therefore, DWP members need practical knowledge and skills to produce informative and appealing content for prospective consumers.
She expressed hope that the material covered during the training could be applied in daily activities, especially to promote MSME products owned by members and local community businesses.
“We hope that through this event, participants can gain valuable knowledge and skills, as well as apply them to support MSMEs and enhance family economic independence,” she added.
The workshop featured a content creator from Aceh Besar, Cut Shanty Widyawani, as a speaker. During the session, she shared techniques for producing promotional content, including photography methods and determining optimal posting times.
Cut Shanty explained that publishing schedules should consider public gadget usage habits so the content has a better chance of reaching more potential consumers.
She also emphasized that limited equipment should not hinder MSME actors from creating promotional content. Using simple tools, content can still be produced effectively as long as it is packaged attractively and comfortably viewed.
“Do not focus too much on the equipment used. What matters is how we can create engaging content, even with minimal gear,” she remarked.
In addition to promotional skills, Cut Shanty highlighted the importance of maintaining product quality. She noted that engaging content must be backed by quality products to ensure promotions do not result in customer disappointment and negative reviews.
“MSME entrepreneurs must be brave enough to create content promoting their products. However, after mastering engaging content creation, product quality must remain a top priority,” she explained.
She also urged participants to stay consistent even if their uploaded content has not gathered many views, noting that building reach and popularity requires time and a continuous process.
“Do not be pessimistic when views are still low. Content is not magic. Making content go viral takes time and process,” she added.
