Aceh – Indonesia, The Aceh Communication, Informatics, and Cryptography Service (Diskominsa) hosted a technical guidance session on the Regency/City One Data Portal for Regional Government Agencies (OPD) across 23 regencies/cities in Aceh. The online event took place from September 28 to October 2, 2026.

The five-day training program was organized by Aceh Diskominsa in collaboration with the Australia Indonesia Partnership-Synergy and Collaboration for Accelerating Basic Services (AIP-SKALA).

During the opening ceremony, Head of Aceh Diskominsa, Edi Yandra, stated that the government requires accurate, up-to-date, and accessible data. He noted that this initiative is a crucial component of implementing One Data, which also serves as a key aspect in evaluating regional leaders in establishing data- and evidence-based governance.

“This is where your role as part of the Regency/City One Data Implementation Team becomes essential. You serve as the bridge between data requirements, provision, and management within your respective regional agencies,” he explained.

Meanwhile, representing the Head of Aceh BAPPEDA, Acting Secretary of Aceh BAPPEDA, Mahdinarmansyah, emphasized the importance of the Aceh One Data Program, which remains a key focus for the Governor and Vice Governor of Aceh and must be fully realized.

“Through this training, we aim to ensure that participants are not only capable of inputting data into the portal, but more importantly, we want to build a One Data Implementation with a shared understanding from the provincial level down to the regions,” he expressed.

The Regency/City One Data Portal was previously introduced through a soft launch during the 2026 Aceh One Data Forum last August. The launch was part of broader efforts to expand access to local government data across Aceh.

During the event, access accounts for the Regency/City One Data Portal were symbolically handed over to representatives from three regions: Aceh Tamiang Regency, Southwest Aceh Regency, and Central Aceh Regency.

The portal aggregates data from municipal and regency governments throughout Aceh. In addition to providing raw data, the platform features dashboards and infographics that present information through charts and visual representations.

The inclusion of these features is expected to streamline information utilization for various needs while granting public access to data across multiple sectors.
