Aceh Tamiang, BERITAMERDEKA.net — The Aceh Tamiang Regency Government, through its Manpower Office (Disnaker) in collaboration with the Aceh Tamiang Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Service Office (P4MI), is offering skills training in the construction and oil palm plantation sectors for local residents.
The training is part of the government’s SMK GO GLOBAL initiative, organized by the Ministry for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI).
This program aims to enhance the skills and readiness of prospective Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) prior to undergoing overseas employment placement in accordance with applicable regulations.
The program is open to male applicants meeting specific requirements: aged 18 to 35, possessing a minimum education of junior high school (SMP) or equivalent, and holding a valid ID card (KTP), BPJS Kesehatan or KIS health insurance, a Job Seeker Card (AK-1), and a health certificate from a hospital or public health center (Puskesmas).
Prospective applicants are also required to prepare a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and be committed to completing the full training program and overseas placement process as stipulated by the program rules.
The training is scheduled to run for 23 days. Participants will receive facilities including accommodation, three meals a day, two daily snacks, an allowance, transport funds, training uniforms, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
For this year, a quota of 40 participants each is available for the oil palm plantation and construction sectors.
Registration is open until October 10, 2026, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB. Applications can be submitted at the Aceh Tamiang P4MI Office or the Aceh Tamiang Manpower Office.
