Aceh – Indonesia, South Aceh Regent H. Mirwan MS officially opened the accreditation survey for RSUD dr. H. Yuliddin Away in Tapaktuan on Thursday (8/10/2026). This evaluation marks a crucial step toward guaranteeing healthcare service standards at the regional government-owned hospital.
The assessment process is being conducted by a surveyor team from the Indonesian Health Facility Accreditation Agency (LAFKI), led directly by dr. Siti Nur Imanta Tarigan, Sp.PK., FIHFAA. The event was attended by local government officials, hospital management, healthcare workers, BPJS Kesehatan representatives, and related stakeholders.
In his speech, Regent Mirwan emphasized that accreditation is not merely about fulfilling administrative requirements, but serves as a strategic moment for a comprehensive evaluation to continuously improve governance and service quality.
“Accreditation is not just a routine activity or a mere formality. It is a means to refine areas that still need improvement, ensuring safe and high-quality healthcare for all members of the community,” Mirwan stated.
He highlighted the vital role of RSUD dr. H. Yuliddin Away as the primary referral center in the southern region of Aceh. Therefore, enhancing service quality and ensuring patient safety must remain top priorities.
The South Aceh Regional Government also expressed its full commitment to supporting the development of the hospital’s services. The Regent instructed all management staff and healthcare personnel to undergo the survey process openly, disciplined, and responsibly, while providing all necessary data and documents required by the assessment team.
“Extend your full support to the surveyor team. Treat this process as a valuable learning experience for the progress of our shared pride, this hospital,” he asserted.
The Regent expressed hope that the LAFKI team would offer constructive feedback, ensuring that the evaluation results go beyond achieving accreditation status to serve as a foundation for sustainable service improvements.
