Aceh – Indonesia, President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated a number of officials today. Positions ranging from several ministerial seats to the National Police Chief have been changed.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (1/10/2026). Prabowo led the oath-taking ceremony for the officials.
This marks the seventh cabinet reshuffle taking place during the Prabowo administration era. This reshuffle refers to four Presidential Decrees, namely Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 104P of 2026 on the dismissal and appointment of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period, Presidential Decree Number 105P of 2026 on the dismissal and appointment of the Chief of Presidential Staff and Head of the National Agrarian Reform Agency.
Presidential Decrees Number 84P of 2026 and 96P of 2026 on the appointment of the Chairperson and Members of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, and Presidential Decree Number 46M of 2026 on the appointment of the Deputy Head of the Finance and Development Surveillance Agency and Deputy Head of the Java North Coast Management Authority Agency.
In total, 18 officials were inaugurated by Prabowo today. One of them is Bahlil Lahadalia, who has now been appointed as Coordinating Minister for Downstreaming and Energy Transition.

Prabowo also inaugurated Police Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto as National Police Chief, replacing General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The inauguration decision was based on Presidential Decrees Number 96 and 97/Polri of 2026 concerning the dismissal and appointment of the Chief of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia and Deputy Chief of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia.
