Banda Aceh – Capella Dinamik Nusantara, in collaboration with the Aceh Transportation Agency, Ditlantas Polda Aceh, and the Faculty of Engineering at Syiah Kuala University (FT USK), organized a road safety socialization campaign through a talk show concept at Balee Keurukon FT USK Banda Aceh, Thursday (24/9/2026).
The event was attended by approximately 150 participants, consisting of FT USK students and various road users in Banda Aceh City.
Participants received education on safe riding techniques, riding simulations, as well as discussions on proper road ethics and behavior.
Honda Safety Riding Instructor and presenter, Reza Novendri, stated that riding safety plays a crucial role in protecting oneself while pursuing one’s aspirations.
βThe theme ‘A Cup of Coffee, A Million Dreams’ conveys a message that every student has big dreams that must be fought for until the end. The journey toward achieving those dreams should not be cut short on the road simply due to negligence while driving,β he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic and Roads at the Aceh Transportation Agency, Diana Devi, MT, emphasized that understanding safety riding is not just about technical skill in controlling a vehicle.
According to her, traffic safety also encompasses attitude, ethics, mindfulness, and respect for other road users.
βTraffic safety is not only about following the rules, but also about how we protect ourselves and respect the safety of others. Drive wisely, obey the regulations, wear safety gear, and be a pioneer of traffic safety,β she urged.
She added that the journey to reaching one’s goals takes a long time, so it must be undertaken by prioritizing safety.
Through this event, Capella Honda alongside its partners hopes that FT USK students can become agents of change and traffic safety pioneers, both on campus and within the community.
Capella Honda also expressed appreciation to the Dean of FT USK, the Aceh Transportation Agency, Ditlantas Polda Aceh, and all parties who supported the execution of the event.
The spirit of safety riding at the event was also echoed through the campaign “We Are Proud to Be the Cari_Aman Generation.”
