Aceh – Indonesia, Investigators from the Women and Children Protection (PPA) Unit of the Banda Aceh Police re-examined the victim in an alleged assault case that occurred at SMAN 3 Banda Aceh on Wednesday (30/9/2026).
The additional questioning was conducted to clarify several statements regarding the case, including confirming the identities of seven reported individuals and their alleged respective roles in the incident.
The victim underwent questioning accompanied by a legal team from the F & P Lawfirm, comprising Fadjri, S.H., Hermanto, S.H., Murtadha, S.H., and Astrid Miranti, S.H.
Legal counsel for the victim, Hermanto, S.H., stated that the additional questioning was necessary to assist investigators in clarifying the sequence of events and the involvement of each reported party.
In addition to accompanying the victim during questioning, the legal team also coordinated with PPA Unit investigators at the Banda Aceh Police regarding the progress of the case.
According to the investigators’ explanation to the legal counsel, eight witnesses, the complainant, and seven reported individuals have been questioned so far.
Investigators also conveyed that the case will soon proceed to a case conference stage.
The legal team stated they will continue to monitor the legal proceedings and hope that all stages of the case handling run transparently in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
“We hope this case proceeds transparently and that the victim receives justice for what happened. We also hope similar incidents will not recur at SMAN 3 Banda Aceh,” the legal team said.
To date, the case remains under investigation by the PPA Unit of the Banda Aceh Police.(rao)
