BANDA ACEH – The Nagan Raya Regency Government is participating in Indonesia Fest 2026, organized by the Iskandar Muda Military Regional Command (Kodam) at Blang Padang Field, Banda Aceh City.
The event, held to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), was opened by the Commander of Kodam Iskandar Muda, Major General TNI Joko Hadi Susilo, S.I.P., on Friday night, September 25, 2026.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Regent of Nagan Raya, Dr. TR. Keumangan, S.H., M.H., represented by Deputy Regent Raja Sayang, along with the Commander of District Military Command (Dandim) 0116/Nagan Raya, Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Irfan Hade Fitrianto.
Deputy Regent Raja Sayang stated that the participation of the Nagan Raya Regency Government in Indonesia Fest 2026 is a form of support and appreciation from the local government to the TNI.
“An event like this serves not only as a gathering place to maintain strong ties, but also to strengthen synergy and togetherness among the local government, the TNI, and the community,” said Raja Sayang on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
During the event, the Nagan Raya Regency Government presented an exhibition booth coordinated by the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) alongside the Regional National Handicrafts Council (Dekranasda) of Nagan Raya Regency.
“The products we displayed included gold thread embroidery, various handicrafts made from jade, coconut shells, and water hyacinth, as well as snacks such as peanuts, kue karah, processed potato items, salted eggs, embroidered goods, and various other craft products from Nagan Raya,” he revealed.
He mentioned that the presence of the Nagan Raya booth at Indonesia Fest 2026 also serves as an opportunity to introduce the potential of local craft products and community businesses to the attending public.
Raja Sayang added that the well-established synergy between the local government and the TNI plays a crucial role in fostering a safe, orderly, and conducive environment.
“This collaboration naturally supports the implementation of regional development and improves services to the public,” he concluded.
