Aceh – Indonesia, Banda Aceh (Waspada Aceh) – Pride enveloped the Al-Furqan Qur’an Tahfiz House (RTQ) in Banda Aceh. Cut Najla Rizqina, a 30-juz memorizer nurtured by the institution, competed in the Aceh-wide high school-level Musabaqah Hifzil Qur’an (MHQ), held at the Iskandar Muda Military Regional Command Headquarters in Banda Aceh.
This event became a historic part of the Indonesia Fest 2026 series, a grand festival organized by Kodam Iskandar Muda to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).
The TNI anniversary celebration, centered at Blang Padang Field, was officially opened to the public. In addition to the MHQ, the event featured marching band competitions, drum bands, marawis, creative dance, and choir performances from across Aceh, aligning with the theme: “Strong TNI with the People, Just and Prosperous Indonesia.”
For Cut Najla, her presence was more than just competing. As a 30-juz hafidzah, she came to maintain her memorization, sharpen her skills, and gain valuable experience before the panel of judges and the audience crowding the venue.
Performing during this special moment of the TNI anniversary celebration was both an honor and a precious foundation for her future journey.
The Director of RTQ Al-Furqan, Ustadzah Yiyi Hissiyah, S.Pd.I., al-Hafizhah, expressed her profound gratitude.
“Alhamdulillah, we are grateful that Najla could participate. For us, the trophy is not what matters most, but rather the process: learning, preserving memorization, and staying close to the Qur’an. May this experience bring goodness to Najla and all our students,” she stated on Thursday (1/10/2026).
This participation serves as tangible proof of a beautiful synergy between the TNI and religious educational institutions in Aceh, joining hands to nurture a young generation that is not only intelligent but also possesses noble character and a love for the Qur’an. (*)
