Aceh – Indonesia, Banda Aceh (Waspada Aceh) – The Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) is holding a selection process to fill Echelon III.b positions for the roles of Coordinator and Head of the Administration Division. The selection is being conducted through a merit system.
The interview stage of the selection was held on Friday (2/10/2026). Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office Teuku Rahmatsyah, Deputy Head Dr. Erry Pudyanto Marwantono, and Assistant for Civil Service Heru Anggoro participated in interviewing the candidates.
The interviews were conducted to assess the candidates’ capacity, experience, competence, and readiness to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the positions to be filled.
In this selection process, evaluations are made by considering the qualifications, competence, performance, integrity, experience, and track record of the participants.
In addition, the assessment covers initiatives, innovations, and the candidates’ ability to prepare and present a paper.
The evaluation results will later be outlined in the Official Assessment Report of the Regional Performance Assessment Team. These results form part of the process prior to nominating candidates in accordance with applicable mechanisms.
Candidates must also meet several requirements, including holding the rank of Senior Prosecutor/Pembina (IV/a) and currently or previously holding an Echelon IV position in line with regulations.
Participants are also required to meet health requirements and must not be undergoing or currently under investigation for disciplinary punishment.
Administrative compliance is also a focus. Candidates are required to fulfill the obligation of submitting the State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN) and the Annual Tax Return (SPT) for the last three years.
The Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office stated that the implementation of the merit system in this selection aims to ensure that positions are filled based on measurable competence and performance records.
Once the entire evaluation process is completed, the Regional Performance Assessment Team’s results will serve as one of the bases for the Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office to propose candidates to the Deputy Attorney General for Civil Service.
For the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office, which falls under Zone C, the nomination quota is set at two primary candidates and one backup candidate.
Thus, the selection process does not stop at the interview stage. Candidates must still undergo further assessment and nomination stages in accordance with prevailing regulations. (*)
