Aceh – Indonesia, The Banda Aceh City Government has welcomed the investment plan offered by PT APCA Tirta Engineering regarding the construction of The New Hotel Aceh, featuring green building and green energy concepts opposite the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, alongside the development of a Waste Management system in Banda Aceh City.

Therefore, Mayor of Banda Aceh, Illiza Sa’aduddin Djamal, stated that support for the investment plan must be followed by careful and measurable planning so that its implementation will provide optimal benefits for both Banda Aceh City and its people.
 
“The Banda Aceh City Government welcomes and fully supports this partnership. We hope this investment will boost investment growth and the economy in Banda Aceh City,” Illiza said on Wednesday (30/9).
 
As a follow-up to the previous audience between the Banda Aceh City Government and PT APCA Tirta Engineering, Illiza requested the investor to submit a more detailed investment proposal.
 
“A more detailed proposal is crucial so the Banda Aceh City Government can comprehensively review the proposed investment plan. This is especially true regarding technical aspects, technology, land requirements, processing capacity, financing and investment schemes, economic feasibility, regional benefits, and the cooperation framework,” Illiza stated.

Previously, Illiza added that the investor had held discussions with representatives from the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque regarding the development project. During the meeting, the mosque management requested that the hotel feature direct access to the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque via an underground passage.
 
“This access aims to facilitate hotel guests who wish to worship at the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. With this connecting walkway, guests can reach the mosque without crossing public roads. Additionally, guests’ vehicles can be parked in the basement area of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque,” Illiza noted. (rif)
