Aceh – Indonesia, Zulbahri, along with his siblings and extended family, remains committed to seeking justice for his late father, Sukirman, who passed away after being attacked with a machete in Paloh Jrat Village, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency, some time ago.

Demonstrating their dedication to monitoring the legal process, Zulbahri and his family visited the Pidie District Attorney’s Office on Friday, October 9, 2026. Their visit aimed to ensure that the handling of the case involving Sukirman’s death is conducted professionally, transparently, and impartially.

For Zulbahri and his family, Sukirman’s passing not only left deep grief but also served as a strong motivation to pursue justice through legal channels. They hope the case is handled seriously so that those responsible can be held accountable in accordance with applicable laws.

In their efforts to oversee the case, the victim’s family was accompanied by legal counsels Ishak, S.H., and Firmansyah, S.H. Both presented legal views during their meeting with the Pidie District Attorney’s Office regarding the case that claimed Sukirman’s life.

The family’s legal counsels emphasized their hope that law enforcement authorities thoroughly examine all facts and evidence, including the potential application of premeditated murder charges if the legal elements are met.

According to them, law enforcement must be carried out objectively and based on facts uncovered during the investigation and trial proceedings. This will ensure that the case is processed fairly, providing legal certainty for the victim’s family.

Zulbahri and his extended family do not want the loss of their father to become just a bitter memory without legal resolution. They are determined to follow the progress of the case until there is full clarity regarding the legal proceedings against those allegedly responsible for Sukirman’s death.

The family also hopes that all stages of the case handling proceed as they should, without any intervention or special treatment for anyone.

For the victim’s family, justice is not about retaliation, but about ensuring that the law is enforced firmly, fairly, and in accordance with statutory regulations.
