Aceh – Indonesia, In welcoming the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the 0107/South Aceh Military District Command (Kodim) distributed basic food packages to 30 underprivileged residents in Lhok Pawoh Village, Sawang District, Saturday (10/3/2026).
The aid was handed over at the Merah Putih Village Cooperative Outlet as a form of TNI’s care for the community, particularly for residents who need support to meet their daily necessities.
Commander of Kodim 0107/South Aceh, Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Andrino D.N. Lubis, S.Sos., stated that the 81st TNI Anniversary commemoration is not just a ceremonial event, but also a momentum to strengthen the bond between the military and the public.
“The TNI was born from the people and must always be present among them. When residents are in need, we strive to be there and become part of the solution within our capabilities,” said Andrino.
He acknowledged that the assistance provided might not meet all community needs. However, he hopes it can ease the residents’ burden while fostering closer ties between TNI soldiers and the public.
“The most important thing is that the care and togetherness between the TNI and the community remain intact,” he added.
The social service event was also attended by the Chairperson of Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana (KCK) Branch XXIX Dim 0107, Kodim staff officers, members of the Sawang District Leadership Forum (Muspika), village officials, and local cooperative management.
The aid distribution took place in an atmosphere of togetherness, offering an opportunity for TNI soldiers to interact directly with the community.
Andrino expressed his hope that such social activities would cultivate a spirit of mutual cooperation and reinforce the unity between the TNI and the people.
According to him, a strong relationship between the military and the community is a crucial element in maintaining unity and supporting a harmonious social life.
