Aceh – Indonesia, Asaduddin was officially appointed as the Acting (Pj) Chairman of the Association of Islamic Students (HMI) Banda Aceh Branch based on the results of the Daily Board Meeting of the HMI Central Board (PB HMI) held on Friday, October 2, 2026 M or 20 Rabiul Akhir 1448 H, at the PB HMI Secretariat, Jalan Sultan Agung, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

This appointment is part of PB HMI’s organizational mechanism to ensure leadership continuity and institutional stability within the HMI Banda Aceh Branch.

With the appointment of Asaduddin as Acting Chairman, it is expected that the organizational wheels of the HMI Banda Aceh Branch will run optimally, with clear direction, and remain guided by the constitution and the struggle values of HMI.

This leadership transition also serves as a strategic momentum to strengthen internal consolidation, build solidarity among cadres, and re-optimize organizational functions in cadre development, intellectuality, and community service.

In carrying out this mandate, the leadership of the Acting Chairman is expected to build constructive organizational communication, foster cadre unity, and ensure all institutional agendas are executed collectively and responsibly.

As a cadre and struggle organization, HMI Banda Aceh Branch carries the responsibility to continuously maintain the existence and relevance of the student movement in responding to social, educational, and community dynamics.

Therefore, the appointment of Asaduddin is expected not only to be an administrative process for the organization, but also a point of reinforcement for a shared commitment to upholding the dignity, integrity, and sustainability of HMI’s struggle.

All cadres of the HMI Banda Aceh Branch are urged to respond to this decision maturely and prioritize the interests of the organization as the main foundation in carrying out institutional activities. []
