Aceh – Indonesia, The Aceh Government and the Aceh Regional House of Representatives (DPRA) have agreed on the General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Priorities and Ceilings (KUA-PPAS) for the 2027 Fiscal Year. This agreement serves as the foundation for the Aceh Government and the DPRA to proceed with discussions on the 2027 Draft Aceh Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBA).

The signing of the Joint Approval Official Report on the 2027 KUA-PPAS took place during a plenary session at the DPRA Main Building on Thursday, October 8, 2026. The Governor of Aceh was represented at the agenda by the Acting Secretary of Aceh, Taufik.

Taufik signed the joint approval report for the 2027 KUA-PPAS alongside the DPRA leadership as part of the stages in formulating the Aceh Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBA) for Fiscal Year 2027.

The plenary session was led by Deputy Speaker of the DPRA, Saifuddin Muhammad, who is familiarly known as Yah Fud.

The approval of the KUA-PPAS provides a foothold for the Aceh Government and the DPRA to continue the formulation process of the 2027 RAPBA. The document contains the general direction of budget policy as well as the provisional budget priorities and ceilings, which will serve as a reference in the budget deliberations.

In addition to the signing of the 2027 KUA-PPAS, the plenary session also included the closing of Session Period II and the opening of Session Period III of the DPRA for the year 2026.

With the transition of the session period, the DPRA will subsequently move forward with several parliamentary agendas, including the deliberation stages for the Aceh budget for Fiscal Year 2027.
