Aceh – Indonesia, Regent of Nagan Raya, Aceh Province, Dr. TR. Keumangan, S.H., M.H., presented various innovations and strategies implemented by the Nagan Raya Regency Government to strengthen public information service management throughout 2025.
The presentation was part of the 2026 Public Agency Information Transparency Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) phase organized by the Aceh Information Commission (KIA) at the KIA Office, Banda Aceh, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
On that occasion, the Regent, affectionately known as TRK, explained that the Nagan Raya Regency Government continues to develop digital and non-digital innovations to establish a transparent, informative, and easily accessible governance system for the public.
One of the featured innovations presented was SATA NARA (Satu Data Nagan Raya), a platform providing access to sectoral data from regional agencies within the Nagan Raya Regency Government.
“SATA NARA was developed to provide accurate, up-to-date, and accountable data, while supporting data-based development and enabling the public to access it easily. It has gathered 617 sectoral datasets from 44 regional work units (SKPK). This platform serves as a key instrument for the Nagan Raya Regency Government in enhancing data governance and public information transparency.
In addition, the Nagan Raya Regency Government offers an Information and Complaints WhatsApp Hotline managed by the Communication, Information, and Statistics Agency to handle information requests, digital content complaints, and public information needs.
The service is also integrated with the official social media channels of the Nagan Raya Regency Government via Facebook and Instagram @pemkabnara, offering the public multiple channels to access information and submit grievances.
TRK stated that bolstering information transparency is pursued not only through digital platforms, but also through various non-digital approaches.
“The Command Center forms an integral part of enhancing these services, particularly as a coordination hub and operational support for the Communication and Information Agency in conducting joint monitoring with SKPK,” he said.
Beyond strengthening service infrastructure, the Nagan Raya Regency Government is building institutional capacity through socialization of Village Information Groups (KIG), sectoral statistics development, and coordination meetings for Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID).
These measures aim to elevate official capacity while strengthening coordination in managing and delivering public information.
TRK added that the dissemination of government information employs a multi-channel strategy, spanning official government websites, social media, news media, and outdoor media platforms.
“This multi-channel strategy ensures that government information reaches a broader audience, remains easily accessible, and is delivered according to community needs,” he noted.
Preparing the GIOK Portal to Enhance Information Transparency
During the presentation, Regent TRK also outlined the Nagan Raya Regency Government’s development strategy for information transparency heading into 2027, which includes plans for the GIOK Portal (Gateway to Information and Collaboration Optimization) of Nagan Raya.
According to TRK, the GIOK Portal is an expansion of SATA NARA aimed at presenting regional statistical data in a more integrated, systematic, and secure manner.
“This will support government needs while providing convenient data access for the public,” he explained.
He emphasized that this initiative reflects the Nagan Raya Regency Government’s commitment to continuously improving public information service quality alongside technological advancements and the public’s demand for open, accessible governance data.
