Aceh – Indonesia, The Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati Aceh) held a selection process for Echelon III.b positions, specifically for the roles of Coordinator and Head of the Administrative Sub-division, utilizing a merit-based system.
The interview phase took place on Friday (10/2). The Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office, Teuku Rahmatsyah, Deputy Head Dr. Erry Pudyanto Marwantono, and Assistant for Civil Service Development Heru Anggoro directly interviewed the candidates.
The interviews aimed to evaluate the candidates’ capacity, experience, competence, and readiness to assume the duties and responsibilities of the targeted positions.
In this selection, evaluations are conducted by considering the candidates’ qualifications, competencies, performance, integrity, experience, and track record.
Furthermore, the assessment encompasses initiatives, innovations, as well as the candidates’ ability to draft and present papers.
The assessment results will subsequently be documented in the Official Report of the Regional Performance Assessment Team’s Assessment Results. These results form an integral part of the process prior to candidate nomination through the established mechanisms.
Candidates must also fulfill several criteria, including holding the rank of Associate Prosecutor/Senior Officer (IV/a) and currently holding or having previously held an Echelon IV position in accordance with regulations.
In addition, applicants are required to meet health standards and must not be currently serving or undergoing investigation for disciplinary sanctions.
Administrative compliance is equally prioritized. Applicants are mandated to have submitted their State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN) and Annual Tax Returns (SPT) for the past three years.
The Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office stated that implementing a merit system in this selection ensures that appointments are based on measurable competence and performance records.
Upon completion of all evaluation processes, the Regional Performance Assessment Team’s findings will serve as one of the bases for the Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office to recommend candidates to the Deputy Attorney General for Civil Service Development.
For the Aceh High Prosecutor’s Office, which falls under Zone C, the nomination quota is set at two primary candidates and one alternate candidate.
Consequently, the selection process does not conclude with the interview stage. Candidates must still undergo subsequent evaluation and recommendation phases in accordance with applicable regulations. (ra)
