Aceh – Indonesia, Traffic Unit Personnel (Satlantas) of Nagan Raya Police along with Darul Makmur Police Sector officers installed a police line on a collapsed road segment in Geulanggang Gajah Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, Sunday, October 4, 2026.
The road segment is an important access route connecting Kuta Trieng Village with Geulanggang Gajah Village.
The condition of the collapsed road body is considered potentially dangerous for road users, especially motorcyclists and four-wheeled vehicles.
The installation of the police line was carried out as a temporary safety measure to provide warning signs for road users to be more cautious when passing through the area.
Brigadier Muslida Amri stated in his video report that the installation of the police line was conducted to prevent accidents caused by the collapsed road condition.
“For the time being, we have installed a police line on this road so that the public will be more careful. We urge residents to avoid driving on the collapsed side of the road and to seek alternative routes temporarily,” he said.
Police urge road users passing through the area to increase vigilance and not to force their way through the damaged section of the road.
The public is also asked to pay attention to the safety signs installed by officers and to use alternative routes until the road segment is safe to traverse again. []
