TAPAKTUAN — The Aceh Selatan Police of the Aceh Regional Police held a ceremony commemorating the 2026 Hari Juang Polri (National Police Struggle Day) at the Aceh Selatan Police Headquarters Parade Grounds in Tapaktuan on Friday (August 21, 2026). The solemn ceremony aimed to reinvigorate the noble values and spirit of devotion among all Bhayangkara corps members in serving the public, the nation, and the state.

During the commemoration, Aceh Selatan Police Chief AKBP T. Ricki Fadlianshah, S.I.K. was represented by Deputy Police Chief Kompol M. Jafaruddin, S.E., M.A.P., who acted directly as the Ceremony Inspector before the assembled ranks.

Khidmat Mengenang Sejarah Perjuangan

This year’s Hari Juang Polri ceremony was attended by the full ranks of the Aceh Selatan Police. Attendees included Key Officials (PJU) of the Aceh Selatan Police, sector police chiefs (Kapolsek) from across Aceh Selatan’s jurisdiction, staff officers, as well as police personnel and State Civil Apparatus (ASN) staff within the Aceh Selatan Police.

The series of ceremonial events at the Aceh Selatan Police Parade Grounds proceeded in an orderly and disciplined manner. The ceremony began with a report from the ceremony officer to the Ceremony Inspector, marking the commencement of the official honors, the hoisting of flags and pennants, and a reflection on the historic significance of Hari Juang Polri.

Penanaman Nilai Pengabdian Personel

The 2026 Hari Juang Polri commemoration served as an essential reminder of the track record of sacrifice and loyalty demonstrated by police members from the era of the independence revolution through the modern era. The presence of all police elements, from the top leadership down to sub-district police chiefs, reflected unity of command and a collective resolve to safeguard the dignity of the police institution.

Through this observance, all Aceh Selatan Police personnel and police civil servants were reminded to uphold the Bhayangkara Corps’ core identity as protectors, guardians, and servants of the public. The spirit of selfless devotion inherited from police forebears is expected to be reflected in their daily duties, particularly in maintaining public peace and order (kamtibmas) throughout Aceh Selatan Regency.

The ceremony on Friday morning reaffirmed the commitment of the Aceh Selatan Police under the Aceh Regional Police to uphold professionalism, integrity, and dedicated service to the state for the peace and security of residents in Tapaktuan and its surrounding areas.
