Aceh – Indonesia, Regent of Central Aceh, Haili Yoga, expressed his appreciation for the performance of the Head of the Aceh Regional Post for the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Acceleration Task Force (Satgas PRR), Safrizal ZA, who was praised for being responsive and solution-oriented in assisting the local government to accelerate budget realization.
The Central Aceh Regent conveyed this appreciation during the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Post-Disaster Satgas PRR Gathering for the Aceh region in Takengon, Friday (10/2/2026).
The FGD was led directly by the Head of the Aceh Regional Command Post for Satgas PRR, Safrizal ZA, with an agenda covering progress presentations, post-disaster management evaluations, and reports on the TKD realization from each regional head.
“Frankly, the Regional Post Head of Satgas PRR, Safrizal, has been immensely helpful to us. They don’t just come to log problems, but immediately look for solutions. Highly responsive and solution-driven,” the Central Aceh Regent stated during the forum.
During the meeting, the Central Aceh Regency Government agreed on a target to achieve a minimum budget realization of 50 percent by the end of October 2026.
According to the Regent, this target is realistic after various technical and administrative hurdles were successfully resolved alongside the Aceh Satgas PRR.
“The target for realization by the end of October must reach at least 50 percent or higher. We have unraveled all obstacles together with Regional Post Head Safrizal,” he said.
Furthermore, the Central Aceh Regent expressed hope that follow-up coordination meetings could be held again in Central Aceh.
In his view, the central region of Aceh requires special attention and intensive coordination with the central government, given its geographical challenges and limited connectivity.
“We hope the follow-up coordination meeting will be held in Central Aceh again. This central region needs a special touch. Holding the meeting here allows us to directly observe field conditions,” he noted.
On that occasion, the Central Aceh Regent also expressed gratitude for the central government’s support toward the development of central Aceh, both in terms of accelerating budget realization and providing strategic infrastructure support.
“Thank you to the central government. The support for central Aceh has been extraordinary. This proves the state is present in the Gayo Highlands,” the Regent concluded.
As is widely known, the central region of Aceh is currently being driven to bolster inter-regional connectivity while strengthening its national strategic tourism area, supported by development programs for its flagship commodity, Gayo Coffee.(ril)
