Aceh – Indonesia, Vice Governor of Aceh H. Fadhlullah, S.E. (Dek Fadh) personally inspected several infrastructure sites and river areas in Bireuen and North Aceh Regencies on Monday (5/10/2026).

The field inspection was conducted following reports from the public and various stakeholders regarding the condition of infrastructure and river basins that require government attention and intervention.

In Bireuen, Dek Fadh inspected the Teupin Mane Bridge in Juli District and Krueng Simpoh. Subsequently, he traveled to North Aceh to assess the condition of the Sawang River, as well as the construction of levees and riverbank protection structures along the Krueng Sawang River.

During the visit, Dek Fadh directly observed field conditions while holding discussions with local governments and technical officials regarding the specific handling requirements at each site.

Prior to visiting Bireuen and North Aceh, Dek Fadh also inspected a location in Pidie Jaya Regency as part of a series of monitoring activities targeting infrastructure conditions and issues requiring government focus.

“Inspections like this are crucial so that we can directly observe field conditions, identify immediate needs, and determine necessary follow-up actions,” Fadhlullah stated.

He emphasized that the Aceh Provincial Government will coordinate with regency governments, technical departments, and river basin management agencies (balai) to ensure that identified issues are addressed according to authority and public needs.

“The government must be present to witness field challenges directly. We will coordinate with the technical teams and the relevant agency so that the measures taken genuinely align with field conditions and local needs,” he said.
