Aceh – Indonesia, Persada Abdya secured a spot in the quarterfinals (top 8) of the 2026 Soeratin Cup U-17 national phase after finishing the group stage undefeated as group leaders.
The Pasukan Sigupai squad collected seven points from three matches, courtesy of two wins and one draw. This record propelled the Aceh representative to the top of the Sumatra zone group standings.
Persada kicked off their campaign with a resounding 7-0 victory over KCT Kepulauan Riau (KCT FC) at Madya Stadium in Medan on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
The win immediately showcased the sharpness of Persada’s frontline. However, their journey was not without challenges.
In their second match on Friday afternoon, October 2, 2026, Persada faced EBR Riau. Both teams battled fiercely, ending the match in a 2-2 draw.
The draw made the final match against Disporasu FC (North Sumatra) a decisive fixture for Persada to secure their position in the standings.
They capitalized on the opportunity effectively, defeating Disporasu FC 2-0, with a goal scored in each half.
The additional three points brought Persada Abdya’s total to seven points, locking in top spot in the standings. They finished one point ahead of Disporasu FC, who collected six points.
Scored 11 Goals, Conceded Only Two
In addition to remaining undefeated, Persada demonstrated impressive goal-scoring form throughout the group stage.
Across three matches, Pasukan Sigupai netted 11 goals while conceding just twice, wrapping up the group stage with a plus-nine goal difference.
This impressive record serves as vital momentum for Persada as they prepare for the competitive quarterfinal stage of the 2026 Soeratin Cup U-17 national phase.
With this achievement, Persada Abdya advances to the quarterfinals as Aceh’s representative. Their next journey will take them to the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) to compete against qualified teams from other groups.
In the final group standings, Persada finished first with seven points, followed by Disporasu FC with six points. Meanwhile, EBR Riau and KCT Kepulauan Riau still have one match remaining, leaving their final group positions yet to be determined.
