Bireuen — Sports equipment aid from the Aceh Government was distributed to a number of dayahs and Islamic boarding schools in Bireuen Regency through the constituent advocacy initiative of Aceh Legislative Assembly (DPRA) Member from the PPP Board as well as Chairman of DPW PPP Aceh, Dr. H. Amiruddin Idris, S.E., M.Si., on Sunday (27/9/2026).

The handover of the aid was conducted by officials of the Bireuen PPP Branch Executive Board (DPC) led by Chairman Edi Saputra, S.H., M.M., accompanied by Secretary Muhammad Reza, M.Ked., M.K.M., along with several board members.

Amiruddin Idris previously served as Rector of Almuslim University and is currently registered as the founder as well as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian National Islamic University (UNIKI) Bireuen.

– MDI Israfi Darussa’adah Islamic Boarding School, Nicah Village, Peusangan District;

– Al-Furqan Islamic Boarding School, Gampong Raya Dagang, Peusangan District;

– Dayah Baitul Ichsan Al-Hanafiah, Gampong Miduen Jok, Samalanga District;

– Dayah Dhiaul Huda, Gampong Keude Tambue, Simpang Mamplam District; and

– Dayah Babul Munawwarah, Gampong Iboeh, Jeumpa District.

Chairman of DPC PPP Bireuen, Edi Saputra, stated that the distribution of this aid is part of the efforts to oversee community aspirations through the DPRA Member.

According to Edi, the sports equipment aid is expected to support athletic activities and the daily routines of the students (santri) in each recipient educational institution.

“Dr. H. Amiruddin Idris always emphasizes that santri are the primary pillar of Aceh’s future. We are here to deliver his mandate so that the students have facilities that support their physical fitness and health while pursuing knowledge,” Edi said.

The aid distribution serves as a form of support for sports activities within the environment of dayahs and Islamic boarding schools in Bireuen Regency.
