Aceh – Indonesia, Vice Governor of Aceh, Fadhlullah, SE, attended the 38th Haul (commemorative event) for Abu H. Abdullah Hanafie, affectionately known as Abu Tanoh Mirah, at the Dayah Darul Ulum Tanoh Mirah Complex, Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency, on Thursday (1/10/2026).

The commemoration was also attended by Abon Arongan alongside several charismatic Acehnese Islamic scholars. The event proceeded in a solemn atmosphere, joined by local community members and Islamic boarding school students (santri).

The haul for Abu Tanoh Mirah served as a poignant moment to honor the memory of a scholar who played a prominent role in education and the propagation of Islamic teachings in Aceh.

His exemplary leadership and dedication remain fondly remembered by the public and stand as a pivotal chapter in the history of Dayah education development in Aceh.
