Aceh – Indonesia, The Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FTK) at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh strengthened coordination with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kanwil Kemenag) of Aceh Province through a meeting addressing several key initiatives. These ranged from Teacher Professional Education (PPG) and PPKPM to institutional partnerships, tracer studies, and alumni empowerment, held at the Aceh Kemenag Regional Office on Monday (September 28, 2026).
The meeting was attended by the Dean of FTK UIN Ar-Raniry, Prof. Safrul Muluk, along with FTK leadership and the Head of the Aceh Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Azhari.
Prof. Safrul stated that coordination with the Religious Affairs Ministry's regional office is essential to support various FTK programs, particularly those related to teacher education and professional development.
“The PPG program, PPKPM (field teaching practice and community engagement), institutional cooperation, alumni tracer studies, and alumni empowerment are crucial components of FTK's development. Therefore, coordination with Kanwil Kemenag is strategic to ensure these programs run more effectively and contribute to education in Aceh,” Prof. Safrul explained.
Azhari, Head of the Aceh Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, welcomed the programs presented by FTK UIN Ar-Raniry. The meeting served as a strategic dialogue to enhance collaboration between the two institutions in education and human resource development.
In addition to PPG, discussions covered the implementation of PPKPM (comprising PPL and KPM), institutional cooperation, tracer studies, and the strengthening of FTK alumni networks.
Also present at the meeting were the Vice Dean for General Administration, Planning, and Finance of FTK UIN Ar-Raniry, Samsul Kamal; Head of the PPG Study Program, Musradinur; and Secretary of the PPG Study Program, Azmil Hasan Lubis.
Representing the Aceh Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs was the Head of the Islamic Religious Education Division, Aida Rina Elisiva.
