Aceh – Indonesia, Banda Aceh (Waspada Aceh) – Hikma Indrawani, a female student with disabilities at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh who has completed memorizing 30 juz of the Qur’an, received a three-wheeled motorbike to support her mobility and academic activities.
The aid was distributed by the Islamic Trust Fund (ITF) of UIN Ar-Raniry on Wednesday (10/7/2026) through the “Bantu Hikma Terus Melangkah” (Help Hikma Keep Stepping Forward) program. The vehicle was funded by donations from contributors and equipped with supporting gear tailored to Hikma’s condition.
Hikma comes from Ingin Jaya Hamlet, Sanggiran Village, West Simeulue District, Simeulue Regency. Limited mobility has posed a distinct challenge for her while attending lectures.
Despite this, Hikma has demonstrated achievements since her school years. She consistently ranked first in her class from elementary through senior high school. She also successfully finished memorizing the entire 30 juz of the Qur’an.
The Chairman of ITF Ar-Raniry, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yasir Yusuf, stated that the distribution of this aid is part of his institution’s commitment to assisting those in need through the management of zakat, infaq, and waqf funds.
“This assistance is a form of ITF’s commitment to distributing zakat, infaq, and waqf funds transparently and accountably to those in need,” as stated in a release received by Waspadaaceh.com on Friday (10/9/2026).
Hikma also expressed her gratitude to the donors for the assistance she received. However, the released statement did not yet include a direct quote from Hikma regarding the benefits of the vehicle for her daily activities.
ITF Ar-Raniry affirmed that it will continue to present education-based programs that bring impact to students in need through the collection and distribution of social funds from donors. (*)
