Aceh Timur – Deputy Governor of Aceh Fadhlullah, also known as Dek Fadh, attended the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday alongside the 15th Aceh Ulama Conference at Dayah Bustanul Huda, Alue Cek Doi Village, Julok District, East Aceh, on Sunday (27/9/2026).

On that occasion, Dek Fadh emphasized the importance of synergy between the government and Islamic scholars (ulama) in preserving Islamic values and building Aceh.

“The Aceh Government deeply respects and needs the guidance of the ulama. We hope this bond remains strong so that the government and the ulama can walk hand in hand in developing Aceh,” said Dek Fadh.
He also expressed his appreciation for the 15th Aceh Ulama Conference as a crucial platform to address community issues while strengthening the role of scholars and Islamic boarding schools (dayah) in guiding the public.

Additionally, Dek Fadh shared the Aceh delegation’s achievement at the 31st National MTQ 2026 in Semarang. Aceh secured a spot in the top four, marking one of its best performances after a 23-year wait.

According to him, this accomplishment was the result of hard work by the delegation, coaches, officials, LPTQ, the Aceh Government, as well as the support and prayers of the ulama and the public.

“We shouldn’t view this achievement merely as a rank. It is the fruit of hard work, prayers, and support from various parties,” he stated.

He hopes this success serves as momentum to strengthen the development of a Quranic generation in Aceh through dayahs and Quranic educational institutions.

A number of charismatic scholars attended the event, including Abu Paya Pasi, Abi Lueng Angen, Waled NU, Baba Di Panton, Abah Di Sarah Teube, as well as other dayah leaders and community figures.
